About Varsity Grille
The Varsity Grille was started in 2009 by a couple of well known Tupelo businessmen:
Mike Greer and Clyde Whitaker. The group then partnered with restaurateur David Steele and has created what we think is the perfect combination of great food and fun. With an emphasis on sports we have nearly a dozen flat screens showing all the most important games.
The Varsity Grille will stake its reputation on having “THE BEST HAMBURGER” you can find ANYWHERE.
Varsity will use only local butchers for our burgers and we gave them one simple order; use only Black Angus beef, triple ground, with cuts like filet, chuck and sirloin so we can provide a taste that simply can’t be matched by anyone.
So whether you want to have a Great Varsity Margarita with friends or pick up some of our burgers, sandwiches, salads and appetizers, the Varsity Grille is YOUR place. We are committed to providing a fun, no frills, relaxed atmosphere with super friendly service.
